Money and benefits
Support if you're over pension age
If you're over the State Pension age, you could receive extra money to go towards your housing costs, and additional help needed if you're a carer.
It's estimated that a third of pensioners who are eligible, aren't claiming the help they could get towards daily living costs.

Support if you're out of work or on a low income
Universal credit replaces a number of benefits with a single monthly payment if you're out of work or on a low income.
The monthly payment includes money for rent and housing costs that is paid directly to you.
